I'm a corporate nurse scientist who traded bedside shifts for a seat in corporate healthcare.
Today, I work as a pharmacovigilance leader. Getting here took more career moves than I expected, and each one taught me something new. Along the way, I had to learn to manage my money as my income grew, and I didn't always get it right. I didn't start actively investing until 2020, years later than I wish I had. I started this journey with poor financial literacy, the way a lot of immigrants do: no roadmap, no one showing me the moves. Now I teach nurses and other healthcare professionals how to make both pivots, the career one and the money one, without learning it as late, or as expensively, as I did.
My Story

The Bedside Years
Started my career at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, caring for patients in their homes, then became a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my DNP at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, and for five years I also taught as an adjunct professor at Yale School of Nursing, long before I ever considered pharma.

The Pivot
Then I moved into pharmacovigilance and built my drug safety career one therapeutic area at a time, across vaccines, oncology, rare disease, and GI. The throughline never changed: using clinical judgment in rooms that were never built with nurses in mind.

Amadchique is where I document that pivot in real time: the corporate-nursing lessons, and the money moves that came with finally being paid like the professional I always was.
What I do
Corporate Nurse Scientist.
Fifteen-plus years across clinical care and drug safety. Today I translate bedside clinical judgment into pharmaceutical and biotech drug safety: running signal detection, writing aggregate safety reports, assessing causality, and sitting at the regulatory table for programs across oncology, rare disease, vaccines, and GI .
Creator.
Through Amadchique, I share the behind-the-scenes of corporate nursing: the résumés that got rejected, the certifications that actually mattered, and the money habits I wish I’d built sooner .

I speak on two throughlines: the career pivot from bedside nursing into corporate life, and the financial literacy that pivot demands. I teach it all through storytelling, turning my own experience into lessons other people can actually use.
